1/08 - Happy New Year!

11/07 - We were nominated for Best Local Artist on The Appetizer on KACU!

9/07 - We had a nice performance break in August and we'll be back rolling pretty soon.  Cole is back from England and will be with us for most future shows.  See our schedule for dates.

8/07 - Thanks to all of you, we made it up to #133 on the ACL Festival contest.  Pretty good for having entered the contest 3 weeks after it started!  We'll look for it earlier next year.  Thanks again.

6/07 - We (Ed and Jenni ) are back from the trip out west.  We combined travel with music - our two favorite things.  Route 66 was fun, and playing in Flagstaff and Albuquerque were great.  There were fantastic audiences in both places, and we thank the organizers in both for such professional events.

4/07 - We're working on a trip across Route 66 in June.  We have two scheduled performances in New Mexico and Arizona, and we'll probably do a couple of open mics along the way.  Check out the dates on our schedule page.

1/12/07 - We just recorded a jingle (our first!) for IGospelRadio.com.  We recorded it out at Big Note Studio www.bignotestudio.com.  Lots of fun!  Check it out!

10/23/06 - We're taking a short performance break for the month of November.  The last few months have been very busy, so we're going to take some R&R time, and hopefully work on some of our new songs!  See you soon!

9/20/06 - Ed and Jenni just returned from a long vacation to Tennessee and Virginia where they got to spend some quality time with old friends and family.  They also did an open mic in Arlington, VA with the one and only Tony Ridder, and an open mic in Nashville, TN at the Bluebird Cafe.  Both were lots of fun.  The 9/18/06 Bluebird open mic is archived at www.bluebirdcafe.com.

7/15/06 - The Australian Broadcasting Corporation aired “Abilene Jukebox” today.  In addition to featuring Joe Specht, author of The Women There Don't Treat You Mean: Abilene in Song, musical excerpts are played from the accompanying CD, for which we recorded "The Jewel of Abilene."  The show runs 51 minutes www.abc.net.au/rn/intothemusic/default.htm.

6/1/06 - Cole is home!  Many thanks to David Broom, Greg Young www.gregyoungmusic.com, Tony Barker www.tonybarkermusic.com, and Ike Spoor www.myspace.com/ikerock for graciously playing with us at different times during Cole's absence.  They expanded our horizons and we are grateful for the experience.

7-8/05 - Thanks to all those who have traveled from around Texas to our shows this summer.  Cole will be in Hawaii most of the month of July, and Ed and Jenni are going back to Canada in August for Daniel's wedding.  See you soon!

4/05 - Jenni and Ed just returned from a songwriting train trip across Canada with Nanci Griffith, Tom Russell, Andrew Hardin, Mary Gauthier, and Gretchen Peters.

3/23/04 - Jenni is hosting Ballad Tree at Mezamiz Deux for the Abilene Acoustic Music Association.

3/04 - Jenni, Ed, and Cole are singing harmony, and Mark is playing percussion on several songs for Greg Young's upcoming CD.

2/7/04 - JP is recording 3 songs at Sound Arts Recording Studios in Houston.
